Opened PDA when Psi-Storm warning message was about to pop-up. While before entered Garbage from Cordon, by the pipe.

Game Mode: story loner on master
fire fight with a couple of Monolith in Zaton, just sniped on in the head then crash to desktop

Hi

Got a crash when entering X-18 (from Yandar) as a Loner with the plot-line enabled.
Just after getting the Psi Helmet (chose the calibrated one)

v1.4.19 and 1.4.21, checked with and without -noprefetch (due to the error message)

I'm running a couple mods, but tried to remove the mod data folder too, to no effect
- AN Redux 1.05a
- SWTC 1.06
- DoctorX missions and dynamic factions (latest)

Running on Windows 10, 64bit. 12Gb RAM. Game stored on SSD Drive. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti (2GB).

Would imply you have a weapon addon. When is last time you installed updated addons on a clean gamedata folder?

EDIT: If those are you only addons, then yes upload the save (.scoc and .scop)

MMmhh, i did install a weapon addon but that was in an earlier build (1.4.12), since then i did a clean reinstall on another folder/drive.
I might, however, be still using a save dating from when I installed it. Not sure if it was AO or OWR. That said, yeah i noticed those messages too, but they basically appear each time a level load and never had a problem before.

I haven't installed any HUD addon, ever, though.

i don't have the wpn_toz3464538:on_before_register part in my log(s).

Do you imply the mod I tried before reinstalling and porting my save over caused it ? I sorta find this weird given it's a pretty advanced save (explored a large part of the map and met/killed countless stalkers/bandits before) and it's the first time it crop up, and constantly at that precise location.

I will give it another go from an earlier save, and if it fails on a vanilla save-game later this week to see if the problem persists. (if it doesn't I'll try adding each addons one by one and contact the appropriate author).

I have extra logging enabled, but it does maybe reveal it's a problem with loading weapons or at least loading a specific npc. In this case it's a bandit. I have some other things I'll try.

Ok, just did a new vanilla (1.4.12 direct update to 1.4.21; previous one was incrementally updated) run from a new save-game, same settings, with -deb spawned equipment, i ran toward the x18 location, just slept 2 days to get the advanced psy-helmet. The level loaded properly.

I have yet to find the culprit mod. One thing i noticed is that the entrance/teleport trigger to X18 is much lower in the building (in the new install) than in my slightly modded version where it triggered right when entering the stairway.

Anyway, sorry for the inconvenience.

EDIT; Tried a couple of things to see whats happening. Ran vanilla game (no updates or mods) and the spawn menu worked fine. 'Install' the update 1.4.22 and the spawn menu crashes the game. Going to try different updates to see which one works for me.
EDIT2; Went back to 1.4.19 and all is good.

Running with this patch 1.4.22, AO3, OA, 4AM in Pripyat, Smurths DH, Autumnal Winds.

The strange thing is; I've played over 6 hours on this save already (done first lab and acquired the psy-protection helmet. Halfway it crashed on Army Warehouses, and now stops me dead in my tracks at Limansk. Right after I tried to accept the mercenary task at Dead city and the last crash happened.

Those debug lines spam BEFORE: add_to_binder are not enabled in 1.4.22... do you have gamedata\scripts\xr_logic.script unpacked?


Look at your patch file name that you downloaded from ModDB does it say 1.4.22__patch.1.zip?

I am getting a crash when entering Great Swamp from Cordon. I am using AO and Outfit addon. Also my stacktrace is empty too. How do I figure out what's causing the crash now when my stacktrace is empty?

Hi guys, I'm new to the scene but have been re-playing the various S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games and several mods for the past several months. I tried this great standalone "mod" a few weeks ago and was instantly hooked. I mean, you get content from all three games in one single package, awesomes! Great work guys.

Anyway, I've been playing as a Merc with a few mods installed on Call_of_Chernobyl_1_4_12 + 1.4.22_patch.1. I was getting random crashes at first but they were solved when I found a fix in the sound menu (sound device=OpenAl soft and EAX option left unchecked). The game worked fine after that, virtually no hang ups or major crashes anymore... in story mode that is. I decided to give Survival a go and that's when the problems started. I started a new game in survival mode but I kept getting "Unhandled Exception" crashes without any fatal errors in the log, just ended with stack trace.

The mods I use are:

STCoP_Weapon_Pack_2.8 + v5.1_Patch
Outfit_Addon_1.4.5.6

Thinking it might be related to one of the mods, I tried renaming the gamedata folder (and also the appdata folder) and started a new game with new saves using only the weapon mod (I can't do vanilla weapons) but the crashes still persist. I even tried AO3.1_for_Call_of_Chernobyl_v5 by itself without any other mods... still crashing.

The weird thing is it plays fine until I get to Jupiter (because that's where I earn good cash by selling mutant parts to the scientists), also I've started over several times (as a merc) and the problems seem to begin after I've killed the freedom members in Yanov station but only after I've slept several hours until dawn in the basement at Yanov. All my saves before that load fine (even after killing the freedom members) but as soon as I decide to sleep for more than a couple hours the saves I make afterwards no longer load and I get CTD.

Here is the final lines of a log using only STCoP_Weapon_Pack, I hope it helps pinpoint the problem. I didn't think to save any logs with all the mods installed but that probably wouldn't help since it still happens without them and it also happened with AO. If you want, I could try replicating the problem without the weapon mod or maybe playing as a loner and not killing Ashot, Yar and Loki in Yanov, because according to the lines at the bottom of the log, could they be what is causing the crash?

OK... Definitively not the mods doing this.

Extracted a fresh copy of Call_of_Chernobyl_1_4_12 into a new directory, patched it using 1.4.22_patch.1.

No mods. I started a game as a merc and spawned in at the refinery in Zaton, grabbed the mp5 (viper) and supplies lying around the place then made my way to Jupiter with my three bodyguards in tow. Arrived in Jupiter by the cement factory and made my way towards Yanov Station (killing a snork and a couple rifle wielding zombies along the way) and quicksaving and reloading the game a couple times to test whether the saves were corrupt. I entered the station and killed Yar, grabbed his sniper rifle and then took out Loki before he even knew what was going on, made my way over to Ashot and took him out and looted his body. Quicksaved, quit and reloaded my save without a problem. Went down to the basement and put a couple things into the box and then went back up and sold what I could to Hawaiian. More zombies arrived (they started to shoot at me through the doors while I was at Hawaiian), I circled around through one of the side doors with my goons and we picked off the zombies outside the station. Entered the station and unloaded the weapons I looted off the zombies then I quicksaved and decided to reload the game again to see if everything was OK. At that point I couldn't load my save, CTD, Unhandled Exception. I thought it had something to do with sleeping but it did it without having slept this time.

I forgot to mention I'm also using the -noprefetch.

I don't get it, I started a few games in a similar way in recent weeks, in story mode. First time with the STCoP_Weapon_Pack. I was getting crashes because of the generic sound device and EAX thing but as I stated before, I was able to rectify the problem (but not before starting over a couple times). I then installed other aesthetic mods and everything was fine until I installed the Outfit addon (it wouldn't let me load my saves so I decided to start a new game). I had made backups but I wanted to have more outfit options. Besides, this game is so friggin' fun (and addictive) I didn't mind restarting the game. I've been playing in story mode ever since (with all of the addons I mentioned in my previous post) without a single crash, it only happens when starting a game with survival mode enabled. I hope this isn't a big problem and can be fixed with a simple patch, I like the addition of traditional zombies and the added difficulty makes the gameplay a bit more tense having to constantly look over your shoulder to see what could be creeping up behind you while traversing the zone. Until then, I'll be continuing my adventures in the Zone in Story Mode.

Side note: I just wanted to say congrats to everybody involved on a superb standalone STALKER mod. The freeplay aspect is great and once you've played through the original games a few times (modded or un-modded), it's great to have a version that takes all areas from the previous games and rolls them into one. Now I can wander the Zone in it's entirety without having to install all three (not to mention the mods for each), saves up an awful lot of hard disk space. But what I love most is how well optimized the game is (even using the texture pack addons doesn't diminish the FPS that much) and you guys fixed the constant freezing that used to occur in certain areas of maps (most notably the ones from SHoC) like for example when entering Rostok. I used to dread entering Rostok from the south because it would always lag just as a pack of dogs would show up. So keep up the good work guys.

Hi I get CTD when loadimg a saved game. 1 out of 10 load are working some time. the game works fine so far, till i have to reload when i die or start the game next day.

Any Ideas how to fix this?
i would love to installe more addon but with this problem no chance!
any sugestions what add on i could install IF it´s working.

I have seen that all my saves are named as
