Changing tooltips delay in inventory

It takes an entire second for an item description using tooltips to come up when you hover your mouse cursor over it in COC's inventory screen. Too long, imo. Is there any way to change it to, say, 1/4 second or less? Thanks for any help.

Single click on inventory item immediately showing the tooltip would be a good compromise. Dropping the delay to a low value will make tooltips obscure items simple mouse over, single click avoids that problem.

In case anyone finds this thread on a search engine, I found a way to reduce the tooltip delay.:

• 1. Check to see if you already have actor_menu_item.xml and actor_menu_item_16.xml in (game install folder)\gamedata\configs\ui. If so, skip to step 4.
• 2. Unpack the game's db files. I used https://www.nexusmods.com/stalkerclearsky/mods/464
• 3. Copy actor_menu_item.xml and actor_menu_item_16.xml from (unpacked data)\configs\ui to (game install folder)\gamedata\configs\ui.
• 4. Open (game install folder)\gamedata\configs\ui\actor_menu_item.xml in a text editor and adjust the "delay" attribute on the "main_frame" tag on the 2nd line. Default is 810. Lower numbers make the tooltip appear faster.
• 5. Repeat for (game install folder)\gamedata\configs\ui\actor_menu_item.xml.
